lyrics

Buzzard is the bird that flies above my home,
her feather’s in my hair ‘cause she’s the one I know.
She glides up where the warm air lifts,
I’m down here in the morning mist.

Dove is the bird that sits on my window,
when she flies the sky has a white glow.
Her eyes glisten like a kiss,
from a world that knows my wish.

Soaring through the sky with wings spread
above the green ground where we tread.
Perching in the trees overhead,
watching the land with eyes intense.

Robin is the bird that likes to hop around
when I’m digging over the fresh ground,
and when my back is turned,
she’ll dive in and eat all the worms.

Tawny owl comes out at night,
when my house is filling with moonlight.
Her sound is sharp and strange,
a lonely bird calling her mate.

Soaring through the sky with wings spread
above the green ground where we tread.
Perching in the trees overhead,
watching the land with eyes intense.
